Flax bids in Western Canada have rallied throughout the fall and early winter but have turned sideways in recent weeks. Although prices have climbed above the $15 per bushel mark a couple of times, that level seems to be where bids often top out. This “resistance” can be caused by buyers such as those from China slowing down purchases, an increase in farmer selling or a combination of both.
